What happened to Amir Shakkar when he sought Sai Baba's help for his rheumatism?

When Amir Shakkar, who was afflicted with rheumatism, approached Sai Baba for deliverance from his sorrow, he was given a very unusual remedy. As detailed in Chapter 22, Baba instructed him to stay steadily in the Chavadi. This was a dilapidated, old building where Baba himself would stay on alternate nights. Despite Amir's suffering and the harsh conditions of the Chavadi, he accepted Baba's word as his medicine and made his salutation, agreeing to follow the instruction given to him.
