What happened once Sai Baba reached the Chavadi during the procession?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 51

Once the procession reached its destination, a series of devotional acts took place. Chapter 51 describes that Baba would first stop before the Chavadi, facing north, and perform ritual hand movements. From there, he would be taken with honor and seated inside. Devotees would then lovingly adorn him with various ornaments and clothes, such as a crest, a golden crown, or a beautiful gold-embroidered dress. Garlands of diamonds, pearls, and emeralds were placed around his neck. Furthermore, some would wash his feet, apply sandalwood and saffron paste, and offer him betel leaf, known as tambool.
