What happened during the Chavadi procession that strengthened Laxmichand's faith in Sai Baba?

During a Chavadi procession, Laxmichand observed Sai Baba develop a cough. A fleeting thought crossed Laxmichand's mind that perhaps someone's 'evil eye' had affected Baba, causing the cough. As Chapter 28 recounts, the very next morning when Laxmichand was in the masjid, he witnessed Baba speak to Madhavrao, saying, "Yesterday I had much coughing; is this the effect of an evil eye?"
