What happened during Ratanji's first encounter with Sai Baba in the Masjid?

During his first meeting with Sai Baba, Ratanji went to the Masjid for darshan. As Chapter 14 narrates, upon seeing the Maharaj, Ratanji felt a surge of love and immediately prostrated at Sai's feet. He had brought a basket of flowers from which he took a garland and lovingly placed it around Baba's neck, also offering a weight of fruits at His feet. Sitting humbly near Baba, Ratanji prayed, stating he had come with great eagerness after hearing of Baba's power to protect those in calamity. In response to his arrival and prayer, Baba immediately asked him, "You have come today; what Dakshina (offering) will you give Me? Then you will be fulfilled."
