What happened after Baba finished cooking in the Handi but before he served the food to the poor?

Chapter 38 details a specific ritual that took place after the food was cooked. Once the Handi was ready, Baba would first test the food himself. He would then bring the pot into the Masjid. A crucial step followed where he would have a Maulvi formally offer the "Fatya," a consecration prayer, over the meal. After this blessing, the food was considered "Prasad." Before serving it to the general gathering of the poor and hungry, Baba would first send portions of the Prasad to two specific devotees, Mhalasapati and Tatya. Only then would he begin distributing the rest.
