What does the story of Dada Kelkar reveal about the true meaning of an offering, or 'Dakshina'?

📖 Chapter 38

The incident with Dada Kelkar provides a profound lesson on the nature of offerings. In Chapter 38, we learn that Dada Kelkar, a devout Brahmin who was perfect in his conduct, was asked by Baba to do something highly unconventional for him: to personally go and fetch meat on Ekadashi, a fasting day. This surprising order illustrates that a true offering, or Dakshina, is not limited to giving wealth, grain, or clothes. The highest form of Dakshina is the faithful performance of the Guru's order, as pleasing the Guru is the ultimate goal for a disciple.
