What does the Shri Sai Satcharitra say about the nature of heaven and why is the earth-world considered more important?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 37

According to Chapter 37 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, heaven is described as a divine state free from disease, worry, sorrow, and the fear of death. However, it is also critiqued as merely a place for sensual enjoyment, where the pleasure experienced by Indra in his garden is fundamentally no different from that of a donkey in a dung-heap. The text argues against striving for heaven because one falls from it after their merit is exhausted. In contrast, the earth-world is considered of profound importance. Even though life here is fleeting, it offers the unique opportunity to attain a state of fearlessness by offering every action to God, making it a more valuable place for ultimate spiritual attainment than the temporary pleasures of heaven.
