What does Sai Baba say about argumentation and logic, and why are they considered detrimental to spiritual progress?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 2

According to Chapter 2, Sai Baba warns that a mind focused on argumentation is filled with an abundance of ignorance and Maya. He explains that such a mindset lacks purity of self-interest and is instead home to bad thoughts and false logic. A person who is cynical and critical is not considered fit for self-knowledge and is instead "devoured by ignorance." Baba explicitly advises against establishing one's own side, refuting others, or engaging in dualistic explanations, calling such efforts useless. For such individuals, there is no happiness in this world or the next, only unhappiness everywhere, which is why this disposition is seen as a major spiritual obstacle.
