What does Chapter 52 say about the nature of delusion and how to perceive the true Self?

📖 Chapter 52

Chapter 52 defines delusion as false knowledge, specifically the pride of identifying the Self with what is not the Self, a state the learned characterize as death. This lack of focus on the true Self is seen as the cause of all calamities. To counter this, the chapter advises meditating on Sai's physical or 'Saguna' form. It explains that the subtle nature of the Self will manifest as the attachment to the form vanishes. This approach is necessary because the formless, attributeless Parabrahma is otherwise entirely difficult to understand, and the Saguna form provides a tangible entry point to knowing the Self's true light.
