What does Chapter 50 teach us about Maya and how it influences our lives?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 50

Chapter 50 describes Maya as an indescribable and powerful illusion of name and form that is very difficult to overcome. Its dwelling place is said to be any pulse of imagination that occurs in the mind. According to the text, the very states of bondage and liberation are born from this imagination, which is the play of Maya. The chapter explains that Maya has two ancient powers: one that leads to a state of bondage and another that leads to liberation from that bondage. While knowledge is the key to liberation, one must first abandon Maya by resolve and destroy sinful karma to achieve that pure knowledge.
