What does Chapter 50 say about the nature of ignorance and the mindset that creates it?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 50

According to Chapter 50 of the Sai Leela, ignorance, or 'Avidya', stems from a negative self-perception, such as viewing oneself as a sinner, unfortunate, or luckless. This attitude is described as the very 'mine of Avidya'. The text further explains that ignorance manifests from doubt, or 'vikalpa', and can corrupt even a wise person, just as a single drop of fermented gruel can spoil a large pot of milk. A person whose knowledge is considered mere ignorance is one who is deluded by worldly attachments, constantly thinking of wealth, luxury, wife, and sons, and is therefore without true devotion and unable to know their own welfare.
