What does Chapter 46 teach about the supreme power of devotion to the Guru?

📖 Chapter 46

Chapter 46 extols the immense greatness of devotion to the Guru, defining loving devotion itself as 'Dharma' (righteousness). It asserts that for one who possesses such heartfelt devotion, nothing is unattainable. The chapter states that Peace, Detachment, and Fame remain under the control of such a devotee. Furthermore, whatever they desire in their heart, they will obtain without any effort. The power of this devotion is so supreme that, as Chapter 46 poetically describes, the state of Brahman-realization serves such a devotee like a maid-servant, and even liberation is not sought after, because the devotee finds everything at the Guru's feet.
