What does Chapter 37 say about the nature of heaven and why it might not be the ultimate goal?

📖 Chapter 37

According to Chapter 37, heaven is not a physical place but rather a divine state of being, described as the Vairaj (the Cosmic Being) or the Virat (Cosmic) Self-form. This state is characterized by being free from mental grief, disease, worry, sorrow, hunger, thirst, and the fear of old age or death. However, the chapter also questions the pursuit of this heavenly home if it is merely a place for sensual enjoyment. It states that a heaven attained through difficult sacrifices and penance is of no use if it lacks the remembrance and chanting of Govinda's name, suggesting that devotion to the Lord is superior to the pleasures of heaven.
