What does Chapter 37 identify as the causes of being trapped in the cycle of worldly existence, and what is the path to liberation?

📖 Chapter 37

Chapter 37 explains that the cycle of worldly existence, or Samsara, where rebirth follows death, is perpetuated by a fundamental delusion. This delusion is the belief that 'Parabrahman is different from me; I am not that, I am something else.' A person holding this knowledge of difference is said to be always subject to death. The text also identifies 'Adharma (unrighteousness), ignorance, anger, and hatred' as the 'nooses of death.' Therefore, as presented in Chapter 37, the path to liberation involves overcoming this sense of separation, transcending these negative qualities, and realizing the divine principle that pervades all beings, from the creator down to a blade of grass, without any difference.
