What does Chapter 32 teach about the importance of a Guru's grace versus scriptural knowledge?

📖 Chapter 32

Chapter 32 places supreme importance on the grace of a Guru for spiritual realization. The text makes a very strong claim that even if one has studied the Vedas and Vedangas, or diligently recited the Shrutis and Shastras, all of that knowledge is considered "mere chaff" without the Guru's grace. It is emphatically stated in Chapter 32 that "without Guru's grace there is no knowledge." The power of the Guru is further highlighted by the statement that hearing the words directly from Sai's mouth can destroy sins and afflictions and even cause one to see one's own Guru.
