What does Chapter 23 say about the nature of the human soul and the path to overcome suffering?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 23

Chapter 23 of the Sai Satcharitra explains that the human soul is, in reality, beyond the three gunas and is of the nature of Existence-Consciousness-Bliss (Sacchidananda). However, it becomes deluded by Maya, causing it to forget this true nature and mistakenly identify with the body. This leads to pride and the false belief of being the 'doer' and 'enjoyer,' which in turn causes distress from a series of calamities. The chapter posits that the only way to calm these troubles and find escape is through loving devotion (Bhakti Yoga) at the feet of a Guru.
