What does Baba say about the practical effort required for Self-realization, beyond just having faith?

📖 Chapter 37

Chapter 37 emphasizes that diligent practice and purification are necessary for Self-realization. It states that the very characteristics of perfected masters, or Siddhas, are the means for seekers to follow. The text provides a detailed analogy: just as there is ghee within milk, a long process is required to obtain it. The milk must be soured, churned into butter, and then heated to become purified ghee. Similarly, the power of purification is essential for the mind. Without diligent practice, there is no purity of mind, and without a pure mind, knowledge and Self-realization are difficult to attain.
