What does Baba mean when he says his Guru asked for 'two paise'?

📖 Chapter 19

According to the teachings in Chapter 19, the 'two paise' that the Guru asked for were not literal currency. The Guru, being one whose desires were fulfilled, had no need for worldly money. Instead, the two paise represented the two most important virtues a disciple can offer: Faith (Nishtha) and Patience (Saburi). By giving these to his Guru, the narrator pleased his Guru-Mother. This illustrates that the true offering a Guru seeks is not material wealth but the disciple's unwavering faith and steadfast patience.
