What did the family of the sick boy do after all the doctors and surgeons failed to help him?

As recounted in Chapter 34, when all medical treatments and remedies reached their limit without any improvement, the family first turned to spiritual means, suggesting the worship of various deities. When this also brought no relief, they heard about a famous saint, Sai Maharaj of Shirdi. Believing that this great Avaliya could heal diseases and that his Udi could cure incurable ailments, the parents decided to make a journey to see him as a last resort. Eager for Sai's darshan, they packed their things and traveled quickly to Shirdi to seek his help.
