What did Sai Baba specifically ask for as a food offering, and how did that wish get fulfilled?

One day, when devotees went to the masjid and asked Sai Baba what naivedya (food offering) he would like, he specifically requested a plate full of khaja. As detailed in Chapter 28, after the afternoon arati concluded, Baba announced to all the devotees present that it was an auspicious day and he felt like having khaja prasad. In response to his expressed wish, the devotees promptly went and brought two bowls filled with khaja, thus fulfilling the desire of Maharaj Sai.
