What did Sai Baba say to Jog to prove that he had kept his word to Dev?

📖 Chapter 40

When Jog told Sai Baba about Dev's letter of disappointment, Baba explained exactly how He fulfilled His promise. According to Chapter 40, Baba recounted his visit in detail, stating, "I said I would come with two others, and I went with two others." He reminded Jog of the "Sanyasi's guise" and the initial visit where Dev was fearful He might ask for money. Baba then confirmed He returned for the meal with two companions as promised. He powerfully asserted the infallibility of his promise by declaring, "Look, for the sake of My word, I would die; but the words from My mouth shall never be otherwise," which left Jog overjoyed.
