What did Sai Baba say about how our words and actions towards others affect him personally?

📖 Chapter 44

Sai Baba taught that he is intrinsically connected to all beings and feels their pain and pleasure directly. As recorded in Chapter 44, he stated emphatically, "If someone spoke sarcastically to another, He has touched my very vital point; know that it has pierced my heart." He further clarified, "If someone has struck another with harsh words, it has immediately caused me pain." Conversely, he expressed that patience and endurance in the face of harshness are very pleasing to him. This reveals that Sai is filled inside and outside of all beings, and treating others with kindness is a direct form of devotion to him.
