What did Sai Baba say about Bhagwantrao Kshirsagar neglecting his father's Shraddha?

📖 Chapter 4

According to Chapter 4, Sai Baba addressed Bhagwantrao Kshirsagar's neglect of his family's spiritual duties after his father's passing. Baba, who considered Bhagwantrao's father a friend, revealed that he had drawn Bhagwantrao to Shirdi for a specific reason. He pointed out that Bhagwantrao had stopped the worship and food offerings (Naivedya) to the household idol of Vitthal and had also skipped performing the Shraddha, or death anniversary rites, for his father. Baba stated, "He never offers food (Naivedya); he keeps me hungry too. He keeps Vitthal hungry too, that’s why I brought him to Shirdi." Through this, Baba prompted him to resume these important practices, demonstrating his concern for both the worship of Vitthal and the observance of ancestral traditions like Shraddha.
