What did Sai Baba's Guru ask from him, and what was the real meaning behind the request?

In a profound teaching recounted in Chapter 19, Sai Baba explains that his Guru, after shaving his head, asked him for two paise. Baba gave them immediately. However, he clarifies that this was not a request for worldly money, as his Guru was one whose desires were already fulfilled. The true meaning behind the request was symbolic. The two paise represented the virtues of Faith (Nishtha) and Patience (Saburi). Baba states, "Faith (Nishtha) and Patience (Saburi)—these were the two paise, nothing else; I gave them to him then and there, and thus my Guru-Mother was pleased with me."
