What did Sai Baba do in the days leading up to His passing, and on which day did it occur?

According to Chapter 44 of the Sai Satcharitra, Sai Baba, knowing His end was near, spent His final days listening to the Ramayana. A Brahmin read the scripture to Him with focused contemplation for fourteen days and nights. As these two weeks of listening to the Ramayana were completed, the day of Vijayadashami arrived, and it was on this sacred day that Baba attained the state of bodilessness, meaning He passed away from His physical form.
