What did Sai Baba do in his final days before passing away?

According to the chronological account in Chapter 44, Sai Baba, knowing his end was near, engaged in a specific spiritual practice. For fourteen continuous days and nights, he listened to the Ramayana being recited by a Brahmin. He did this with intense and focused contemplation. This period of two weeks concluded on the day of Vijayadashami, which is the very day that Baba attained the state of bodilessness and left his physical form.
