What did Sai Baba do in his final days before he passed away?

According to Chapter 44 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Sai Baba, knowing that his end was approaching, engaged in a specific spiritual practice. For a period of two weeks, which amounted to fourteen days and nights, he listened to a Brahmin recite the Ramayana. This act was done with focused contemplation. The text notes that as soon as these two weeks of listening were completed, the day of Vijayadashami arrived, and it was on this day that Baba attained the state of bodilessness, meaning he passed away. This indicates a conscious and prepared departure from his physical form.
