What did Baba mean when he told a devotee, "Your state will be like this sugar," and what advice did he give for spiritual growth?

📖 Chapter 19

In a beautiful exchange recorded in Chapter 19, Baba used a handful of sugar candy to illustrate a spiritual promise. He told the devotee that if he kept Baba's teachings in his heart, his state would become sweet like the sugar, and his heart's desires would be fulfilled. To achieve this, Baba gave specific instructions: "Listen to the stories, reflect on them (Manan), and meditate on them (Nididhyasan)." He explained that by keeping what one has heard in the mind, "the mine of your own welfare will open, and your sins will be washed away," leading to the manifestation of the "Cloud of Bliss."
