What constitutes true devotion to Sai, and what are the pitfalls that prevent it?

📖 Chapter 45

According to the teachings in Chapter 45, true devotion to Sai involves dedicating all one's senses to Him in a state of complete worship. The text warns against a superficial or divided devotion, which it describes as a great downfall. For instance, merely looking at an idol while one's mind and other senses are preoccupied with worldly desires—like thinking of mangoes while hearing His praise or desiring soft beds while touching His feet—is not true devotion. A genuine Sai-devotee is one who cannot bear to be separated from Sai even for a moment and knows how to detach from worldly distractions to maintain that singular focus.
