What circumstances led to Balabuva Satarkar, the 'Modern Tukaram', being available to perform at the Ram Navami festival in Shirdi?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 6

Balabuva Satarkar, a Haridas also known as the 'Modern Tukaram', was available to visit Shirdi due to an unfortunate event in his usual place of service. As detailed in Chapter 6, he had an annual grant to perform the Ram Navami Kirtan at Siddha-Kavthe. However, that particular year, a plague, referred to as Margi, struck the village. Consequently, the Ram Navami celebration was cancelled, and the villagers asked him to return the following year. This cancellation of his service to Rama and the loss of his fee provided the unexpected opportunity for him to seek Sai Baba's Darshan and perform in Shirdi.
