What circumstances led to Balabuva Satarkar performing the Ram Navami Kirtan in Shirdi?

Balabuva Satarkar's performance in Shirdi was the result of a series of fortunate events. As Chapter 6 explains, Balabuva, a Haridas from Satara, had an annual commitment to perform the Ram Navami Kirtan at Siddha-Kavthe. However, that particular year, a plague struck Kavthe, leading to the cancellation of the festival. This unexpected free time provided him with the opportunity to fulfill his desire to have Sai Baba's Darshan. He met with Bhausahab Dixit and expressed his wish to perform Kirtan in Shirdi. Dixit then sought and received Baba's permission, paving the way for Balabuva's memorable visit and performance.
