What circumstances brought Madhavrao Deshpande to Nagar, and how did he end up agreeing to travel with Dixit?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 51

Madhavrao Deshpande was compelled to travel to Nagar with his family after his father-in-law sent a telegram claiming his mother-in-law was gravely ill. As described in Chapter 51, upon reaching Nagar, he discovered her health was actually fine. Just as he arrived, he was seen by Nanasahib Panshe and Appasahib Gadre, who told him about Kakasaheb Dixit's eagerness to visit Shirdi. They urged him to meet Dixit at Mirikar's house. Madhavrao honored the invitation, met Dixit for the first time, and they promptly made a plan to travel together to Shirdi that very night.
