What can you tell me about the horse Shyamakarna and the general decorations for the Chavadi procession?

📖 Chapter 37

The preparations for the Chavadi procession were extensive, creating a scene of victory and celebration. Chapter 37 notes that arches, toranas, and flags decorated the area, and many rows of lamps were lit near the Masjid. A central figure in these preparations was the horse Shyamakarna. This copper-colored horse stood at the courtyard gate, resplendent and fully adorned with all ornaments. During the procession, Shyamakarna, with bells jingling on his feet, had the honor of leading the way. The general festive mood was also reflected in the children, who were adorned with new clothes for the occasion.
