What can we learn from Sai Baba's early days in Shirdi about selfless service and healing?

📖 Chapter 0

In his early days, Maharaj exemplified selfless service. He resided in a dilapidated Masjid and would only go for a meal if someone invited him. He never took money for the help he provided. As described in Chapter 0, he would give medicines to people and, if a patient wasn't being cared for properly, he would personally tend to them. This demonstrates his deep compassion and commitment to caring for others without any expectation of reward. Later, he stopped giving medicine and started giving only Udi, or ash, which also brought benefits to people. His actions show that true service is providing care with a selfless heart.
