Chapter 24 describes her 'grinding' Baba's stomach with both hands, pressing so vigorously that 'the stomach and back became flat.' While this might appear rough, the text emphasizes it was an act of 'pure love' and that she was completely 'absorbed in Sai's name,' pressing fearlessly. Baba, in turn, 'seemed completely at ease.' This teaches us that the essence of devotion (bhakti) and service (seva) lies in the purity of intention and the devotee's absorption in love for the divine, rather than the external form of the act.
