What assurance did Sai Baba give to the author about writing the Shri Sai Satcharitra?

Sai Baba gave his complete permission and full assurance to the author for writing his life story, or Charitra. As described in Chapter 3, he instructed the author to proceed without any hesitation, to keep complete faith in his words, and to make his mind determined. Baba promised that the act of writing this divine play would destroy the faults of ignorance (Avidya). He also stated that for those who listen to the stories with devotion, their consciousness of worldly affairs would fade, and they would experience waves of love and devotion.
