What are the 'two paise' that Baba's Guru asked for, and what do they represent?

📖 Chapter 19

In Chapter 19, Baba explains that when his Guru asked for 'two paise,' he was not requesting worldly money. He clarifies that his Guru's desires were fulfilled and he had no need for gold. Instead, these two paise were symbolic of two essential virtues required from a disciple: Faith (Nishtha) and Patience (Saburi). Baba states, 'Faith (Nishtha) and Patience (Saburi)—these were the two paise, nothing else; I gave them to him then and there, and thus my Guru-Mother was pleased with me.' This offering of virtues, not currency, is what truly mattered.
