What are the 'two paise' that Baba's Guru asked for, and what do they represent in his teachings?

📖 Chapter 19

According to the teachings in Chapter 19, the two paise that the Guru asked for were not literal currency. Instead, they were a metaphor for two essential virtues: Faith (Nishtha) and Patience (Saburi). The narrator explains that his Guru was one whose desires were fulfilled and had no need for worldly money. By giving these two 'coins' of faith and patience, the disciple pleased his Guru. Chapter 19 further describes patience as a form of courage, stating, "whenever a heavy burden falls, this alone will take you to the other shore." This illustrates that the Guru was seeking spiritual readiness, not material wealth.
