According to the teachings found in Chapter 19, Baba described two primary paths to liberation: the path of Knowledge (Jnana) and the path of Devotion (Bhakti). He used a powerful analogy to explain their differences. The path of Devotion is likened to a Sitaphal (custard apple), which is described as an easy, juicy, and sweet means to the goal, requiring little effort to enjoy. In contrast, the path of Knowledge is compared to a Ramphal (bullock's heart fruit). While its sweetness can be superior, it requires immense patience and skill, as it must ripen perfectly on the tree to be enjoyed; otherwise, it becomes pungent. For this reason, Baba advised the easier path of Bhakti for the common people.
What are the two main paths to liberation that Baba taught, and how are they different?
