What are the true 'nooses of death' and what is the divine state that lies beyond them?

The teachings in Chapter 37 identify the true 'nooses of death' not as a physical event, but as the internal states of Adharma (unrighteousness), ignorance, anger, and hatred. One who successfully transcends these negative forces is said to enter the divine heavenly state. This state is described as realizing the Cosmic Self-form (Virat), a condition of absolute freedom from disease, worry, illness, sorrow, and the fear of death, where the soul can move about completely fearless and without the duality of 'do's and don'ts'.
