What are the signs of incomplete or superficial devotion, as opposed to true worship?

📖 Chapter 45

According to Chapter 45, true worship involves devotion to Sai with all of one's senses, not just outward actions. The text warns against a divided consciousness, which is a sign of superficial devotion. Examples include looking at an idol with the eyes while the mind is elsewhere, hearing Sai's praise while the tongue is preoccupied with tasting mangoes, or touching Sai's feet while still desiring worldly comforts like soft beds. The scripture posits that if one's mind does not achieve detachment from the world and spark a true love for God, it is a great downfall, and one who is separated from Sai even for a moment cannot truly be called a Sai-devotee.
