What are the qualities of a seeker who is truly on the path to liberation?

Chapter 45 outlines the characteristics of a blessed seeker of liberation. Such an individual practices discrimination between the eternal (Brahman) and the transient (the world). They renounce the desire for the fruits of their actions and enjoyment, both in this world and the next. This seeker also cultivates the six-fold virtues, including calmness and self-control.
