What are the fundamental differences between the path of Shreya and the path of Preya as described in Chapter 17?

Chapter 17 of the Sai Satcharitra explains that Shreya and Preya are two distinct paths with opposite natures. Shreya represents the path of salvation (the Good) and is associated with Vidya, or pure Knowledge and wisdom. In contrast, Preya is the path of worldly joy (the Pleasant), which is rooted in Avidya, or pure Ignorance, and a lack of discrimination. The chapter states that those whose minds are drawn to Preya, driven by cravings for worldly objects, fall away from their true self-interest. The wise, however, are never deluded by Preya and consistently choose the path of Shreya.
