What are the defining characteristics of saints like Sai Baba?

They are described as being content with whatever comes spontaneously, constantly immersed in the Self, and beyond the dualities of pleasure and pain. Even while appearing to have a body and moving in the worldly life, a saint is truly formless, changeless, unattached, and liberated within. This inner state of being eternally free and full of bliss is their true nature.
