When the wealthy merchant Ratanji confided in Das Ganu about his deep sorrow over not having a son, Das Ganu provided clear guidance. As recounted in Chapter 14, Ganu, in whom Ratanji had great faith, advised him to go to Shirdi. He instructed Ratanji to take Sai Baba's darshan, bow at His feet, and explain his problem from beginning to end. Ganu assured him that Baba's power was inconceivable and that by surrendering to Him, he would be blessed and his heart's desire would be fulfilled. This idea appealed greatly to Ratanji, who made a resolution and, after a few days, traveled to Shirdi to meet Sai Baba in the Masjid.
What advice did Das Ganu give to Ratanji when he learned of his sorrow, and how did Ratanji act on it?
