📖 Chapter 51

After being joyfully escorted to the Chavadi and seated, Sai Baba was the subject of elaborate and loving worship by his devotees. Chapter 51 describes how he would be adorned with beautiful ornaments and clothes, including crests, crowns, or a deep-colored turban and a gold-embroidered dress. Devotees would lovingly place garlands of diamonds, pearls, and emeralds around his neck, apply a fragrant musk mark to his forehead, wash his feet, and offer him tambool (betel leaf). His body was also anointed with sandalwood paste as a sign of reverence.
