Was there a karmic backstory suggested for why the tiger ended up dying at Sai's feet?

📖 Chapter 31

The text in Chapter 31 speculates on a karmic reason for the tiger's fate. It suggests that the creature might have been a meritorious person in a past life who, due to 'learning-pride,' insulted a devotee of Hari. As a result of the devotee's curse, he was born into the 'cruel birth' of a tiger. However, a 'counter-curse' may have led him to Sai Baba's feet. Through Sai's darshan, its sins were burned away, the bonds of past karma and attachment were broken, and it attained salvation, freeing it from the 'cruel body's bondage' as part of a divine arrangement.
