Although Amir Shakkar was forbidden from going to the Masjid, his stay in the Chavadi ironically provided him with ample opportunities to see Baba. As Chapter 22 explains, his location ensured he had Baba's vision automatically and without effort. He could see Baba every morning during the daily alms rounds, as the path went by the Chavadi. He also saw Baba every evening. Most notably, on the alternate nights when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, they were separated only by a plank door and would talk to each other after the other devotees had departed.
Was Amir Shakkar isolated from Sai Baba during his nine-month stay in the Chavadi? Explain his opportunities for darshan.
