Using the analogies in Chapter 10, explain the process for a devotee to overcome worldly existence and attain liberation.

📖 Chapter 10

Chapter 10 uses a powerful analogy to explain the path to liberation. It compares the worldly existence to a vast ocean, or 'Bhavasagar.' To cross this metaphorical ocean, one must place their trust in a great Guru, who acts as a 'boatman.' The chapter states that when a Sadguru becomes the boatman for devoted bhaktas, they are safely guided across the three types of miseries: physical, mental, and divine. By seeing the devotee's faith, the Guru places Knowledge in their palm and grants the attainment of liberation (Moksha) effortlessly, breaking the knots of the heart and destroying accumulated karmas.
