Using examples from the text, explain the different ways Sai Baba's healing grace was manifested, both with and without Udi.

📖 Chapter 33

Chapter 33 illustrates that Sai Baba's healing grace was not limited to a single method. For instance, when Bapusaheb Jog was stung by a scorpion, he was healed directly by Baba's powerful words, with no physical remedy or Udi involved. In contrast, the Jyotishi Buwa, suffering from a similar affliction, found relief only after he physically applied Udi and coupled it with chanting Baba's name. A third, unique manifestation occurred through Nana Chandorkar, who, having no Udi for a sick girl, used roadside clay as a substitute. His prayer alone imbued the clay with healing power that worked from a distance. These examples show that healing could manifest through Baba's direct command, through Udi activated by faith, or through pure faith empowering a substitute medium.
